As part of our mission, the Society engages itself in both Parish apostolate and in providing different social services especially education and health. The aim is to ensure that, the people whom we serve get the basic social needs.  With the help of different benefactors from Europe and United States of America, the Society has been able to establish a few health and Educational facilities.

EDUCATIONAL FACILITIES.
The  ALCP/OSS runs, Nursery  schools, Primary schools, Secondary schools  and one Vocational training center.
Nursery  schools & Primary  Schools
We have four  nursery schools which include, St. Bernard Kindergarten (located in Siha District, Kilimanjaro Region), St. Maria  Lucia (located in Moshi Rural District, Kilimanjaro Region), Paul Nursery & Primary School (located in Siha District, Kilimanjaro Region) and Rossana Kindergarten (Siha District, Kilimanjaro Region). Rossana Pre and Primary School located at  Siha District, Kilimanjaro Region. However, there is still a need to construct a boarding Primary School to help accommodate the pupils who cannot afford getting enough time to study back at home.
Secondary schools
We  have  two secondary Schools which are Kilasara Secondary School and Joyland Girls Secondary School.
Kilasara Secondary School is a core-educational (boys and girls) boarding school located in Siha District, Kilimanjaro Region, around sixty-five (65) kilometers from Moshi town. It started its operation in 2012 but is still under construction to meet the needs of the students and government requirements.
Joyland Girls Secondary School, on the other hand, as the name states, is a girl boarding school, located in Same District, Kilimanjaro Region, around one hundred and twenty kilometers from Moshi town. It began its operations in 2008. There are a few requirements to this school to meet the government’s requirements.
Vocational training center (VTC)
The one vocational training centre is St. Joseph vocational centre. With the help of friends and benefactors we were able to come up with this training centre. The aim is to help young boys and girls to have some basic skills which can help them be self-sustaining. The centre started way back in 2008 but there is still a lot to be done for its expansion.
Support is particularly needed for:
We kindly need your support in our education and vocational training centers.
Education is the key to success. Our education centers are located in the most remote areas to render service to the poor, the needy, marginalized and abandoned. Majority of the local population are illiterate. Education is needed to bring light to these little ones. ALCP/ OSS run schools for these motives. Majority of the students cannot afford the school fees and other necessity.
Most of the children in these areas do not go to School because of the following reasons.

  1. No School near their home areas.
  2. Their parents are extremely poor
  3. Their society is nomadic (Maasai), who do not value education.

We will be glad if you want to help the smile of these poor children by donating something little for them and this will be the most beautiful reward for them....
Every of your single sent is highly appreciated.
